Robyn Mendez has spent the last 13 years raising money to make the world a better place. Currently she is ‘Making Cancer History’ as the Sr. Director of Development at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. In this role, she is responsible for the Annual Fund Direct Mail Program, Digital Fundraising Program and Philanthropic Calling Program.
Prior to MD Anderson, Robyn served in a variety of roles for Convio/Blackbaud encouraging non-profits to embrace technology as a means of growing their fundraising efforts. Her fundraising career began in the special event trenches working on the National MS Society’s MS 150 Bike Tour and the Komen Houston Race for the Cure.
